The Bachelor of Counselling program prepares students to provide professional support for individuals dealing with mental health issues, emotional challenges, and life transitions. The course combines theoretical knowledge in psychology, ethics, and therapeutic techniques with practical training through placements. Graduates are equipped to work as counsellors in a variety of settings, such as schools, healthcare, social services, and private practice, helping clients navigate personal and emotional difficulties.
Applicants must have completed secondary education (equivalent to A-levels or high school diploma) with relevant qualifications. A minimum IELTS score of 6.0 (with no individual band below 5.5) is required for non-native English speakers. Additional requirements may include meeting specific GPA criteria, a personal statement, and a background check.
